Bridge Club in Santo Domingo
 Looking for an evening of bridge excitement in Santo Domingo? Old address was Emilio's restaurant, it has now changed to Hotel Santo Domnigo. Every Tuesday at 8:00 pm (most players come a bit earlier for a social and a snack) a group of bridge afficionados sit at the tables in expectation of that gran slam.
And you don't speak Spanish? You will be excused. English ist the second language of the club and you'll be surprised how many different nationalities you'll meet. Duplicate bridge is played at all times. You are expected to know Stayman, to ask for ases with 4NT and if you think 2 clubs means atomic bomb you're right. No one yells for partner's mistakes, this is a place for good manners here in the heart of the Dominican Republic. There is an RD$ 1000 per year admission.
